ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Typical patient ratio of 4:1 based on acuity
• Weekend shifts required on an as-needed basis
• No on-call requirements
• No floating requirements
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted
• RN scrubs may be any color
• Charting system: Cerner (experience required)
• Free parking available
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Preferred certification: TNCC
• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid participating compact license required
• Pediatric skills required - basic pediatric experience is a hard stop requirement
• Must be comfortable caring for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Must adhere to quality and patient safety standards including medication administration (BCMA)
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Key clinical skills include triage, interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV management, arterial line management, chest tube management, procedural sedation, emergency medications, and management of behavioral health conditions
