X-Ray Technician Job in San Francisco, CA

Join Sutter Health CPMC Van Ness Campus as an X-Ray Technician in our Radiology and Cardiology departments. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026, offering you the opportunity to work in a dynamic acute-care setting while expanding your clinical skills.

Position Overview

You will perform diagnostic radiographic imaging across multiple clinical environments, including the operating room, emergency department, intensive care units, and outpatient settings. Your expertise will support patient care in both adult and pediatric populations.

Schedule & Compensation

• 5x8 hour evening shifts, Monday through Friday
• 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $2,517.70

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of X-Ray Tech experience
• Operating Room (OR) experience required
• Current ARRT R certification
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• CRT certification
• Fluoroscopy Permit

Clinical Competencies

You should demonstrate proficiency in:

• Adult acute care and outpatient radiography
• Pediatric acute care and outpatient radiography
• Bedside and portable procedures
• Emergency Department imaging
• Operating Room support
• Equipment experience: GE and Siemens systems, PACS, ICU and NICU environments
