Job Details:

• Day shift position working Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Perform a wide variety of CT and radiographic technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative
• Verify proper clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history prior to procedures
• Administer contrast media following established procedures and protocols
• Operate and maintain CT equipment including power injector and all department workstations
• Push and retrieve images from CT console to PACS system
• Position patients for procedures and ensure proper identification using 2 unique identifiers
• Monitor patient condition and evaluate situations requiring physician intervention
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Perform venipuncture and demonstrate sterile technique as needed
• Complete all studies in RIS before completing in PACS
• Maintain Joint Commission standards and all applicable regulatory agency standards
• Take call when necessary
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology required
• Less than 1 year of CT experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R), ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT), and BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Must be competent in all aspects of CT including patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
• Must be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment while multitasking
