CT Technologist Job in Marietta, GA

Kennestone Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for night shift work. You will perform a wide variety of CT and radiographic technical procedures, exercising independent judgment and initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Shift and Schedule

• Night shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• On-call responsibilities as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history prior to procedures
• Ensure proper patient identification using two unique identifiers before performing any procedure
• Administer contrast media following established procedures and monitor patients for contraindications
• Demonstrate proficiency with loading and operating power injection equipment
• Maintain competency with venipuncture
• Transport, position, and assist patients on and off procedure tables
• Review CT and radiographic images for clinically acceptable results before releasing patients
• Send completed studies to PACS immediately and complete all studies in RIS before PACS transfer
• Maintain Joint Commission standards and all applicable regulatory agency standards

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) certification
• ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification
• BLS certification (AHA, ARC, or Instructor level)
• Minimum one year of experience in Radiology; less than one year CT experience preferred
• Competency in all aspects of CT including patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
• Ability to function independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities

Duration: 91 days. Start date: September 21, 2026. Weekly pay: $2,360.
