CT Technologist Job in Lamar, CO

Prowers Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment in Lamar, CO. You'll work 3x12 hour day shifts at $2,939 weekly.

In this role, you will perform CT and X-ray examinations using ionizing radiation while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety. Your responsibilities include:

• Performing CT and X-ray examinations and producing radiographs using proper technical factors
• Evaluating each film for proper exposure and positioning
• Scheduling exams and instructing patients on preparation requirements
• Setting up and organizing rooms for radiographic procedures
• Working independently and making sound decisions, including in emergency situations
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff both orally and in writing
• Maintaining strict confidentiality of all patient information

You must be able to lift and move patients with or without assistance and maneuver equipment weighing 20 pounds or greater. Manual dexterity is essential for operating imaging equipment safely and effectively. Strong visual and hearing acuity are required to receive and respond to feedback from patients and clinical staff.

Required Qualifications: You must hold current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT. This is a mandatory credential for this position.
