Respiratory Therapist Job in Oklahoma City, OK

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to join OU Health in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This is a 26-week contract position offering you the opportunity to provide specialized respiratory care in a pediatric setting.

Position Details:

• 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 48 hours per week
• Weekly pay: $2,638
• Contract length: 180 days
• Start date: November 2, 2026

Your Role:

As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will deliver age-appropriate respiratory care to pediatric patients under general supervision. You will administer therapeutic treatments as prescribed by the attending medical staff, perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring, and maintain detailed treatment records in the electronic medical record system. You will work as a resource person to the medical team, ensuring all respiratory equipment is properly cleaned and maintained according to departmental standards.

You will be an active member of the quick response team, responding to cardiac and respiratory arrests as needed. Your responsibilities include documenting patient treatment responses, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and providing efficient, timely services for the Respiratory Therapy Department.

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision
• Allied Health Professional credential
• Previous experience in a children's hospital preferred
