Med/Surg RN Job in Wichita, KS

You will work as an RN on a 24-bed Med/Surg unit at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS. This role offers 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three shifts per week for 91 days starting September 7, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,349.

Unit Overview

• 24-bed unit focused on Oncology and General Surgery care
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 5 RNs at full capacity
• Patient ratio of 1:5 (estimated, never guaranteed)
• Primary nursing care model

Clinical Responsibilities

• Standard med/surg patient care
• Chemotherapy administration (chemo-certified nurses only)
• Remote telemetry unit management with vital signs every 4 hours for remote tele patients and every 8 hours for standard patients

Systems & Tools

• EMR: Meditech
• iPhone nursing system for team communication

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
• BLS certification required
• Chemo certification preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
