Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday shifts worked as needed
• Self-scheduling available with option for block scheduling
• Must attend one department meeting per month
• Low census per contract applies for call or standby situations
• No more than 30 treatments per shift depending on the season
• Workload divided by floor, which may result in heavier workload at times
• Cover inpatient and emergency room areas
• Float between ICU, floors, NICU, and ER as needed
• Patient population ranges from NICU to geriatrics including ICU, stepdown, MedSurg, small Peds unit, and Level III NICU
• Job duties include ABG draws and analysis, breathing treatments, BiPAP, CPAP, ventilator management, and assisting with bedside bronchoscopy
• Assist with intubation and may place an LMA
• Will not perform EKGs
• Equipment used includes Drager vents, Cervo-NICU, Hamilton transport vent, Vapotherm, Philips V60 and V30
• Charting system: EPIC
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Must have NICU experience
• Any color scrubs accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT or RRT via NBRC, PALS, STABLE
• NRP required only for those handling NICU patients
• BSN not required
• Trauma Level 3 acute care setting
