Job Details:

• 4x10 shifts, 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with a random day off per week
• On-call rotation required with staff
• Weekend rotation required with staff
• Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
• Strong orthopedic, neurosurgery, and general OR skills required - proficiency in all three areas is mandatory
• Strong general, ortho (total joints), and neuro experience required
• Big belly, craniotomy, and orthopedic trauma experience highly preferred
• Robotic-trained highly preferred
• Patient population includes neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Level I Trauma OR with 25 OR suites serving southwest Virginia
• Services include general, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, gynecology, oncology, robotic, ENT, ophthalmology, pediatrics, and sports medicine
• Special equipment includes ROSA, Si and Xi daVinci robots, Stealth, O-Arm, and HIPEC
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and one of the following - NBSTSA, NCCT, or Military OR Tech Certification
• Virginia state license required; if holding an out-of-state license, a 90-day authorization will be required while VA state license is being issued
• All requested time off must be submitted with the initial submission
