Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment on the 4 North Medical/Surgical unit
• Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 32-bed unit with day shift patient ratios of 1:5 and night shift ratios of 1:6
• Work every other weekend at minimum
• No on-call requirements
• Navy scrub color required
• Perform all surgical procedures including kidney transplants
• Work with Welch Allyn vital signs machines, i-Mobile iPhones for communications, and radio with headsets
• EMR system: Meditech
• Medical/Surgical experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with transplants, dialysis patients, and diabetic patients preferred
• Team player mentality and ability to take initiative highly valued
