CVOR Technologist Job in Fort Wayne, IN

Join Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana as a Certified Surgical Technologist in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). This 13-week travel assignment offers you the opportunity to work in a focused surgical environment where your expertise directly supports complex cardiac procedures.

Position Details

• Day shift: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 72 hours guaranteed bi-weekly
• On-call as needed
• Weekly pay: $2,581
• Start date: October 5, 2026

Your Role

You will work in a cardiovascular operating room consisting of 4 ORs, assisting surgeons during cardiac and thoracic procedures. Your responsibilities include preparing the surgical field, passing instruments and supplies, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring the smooth flow of cases. You will also assist in turning over OR rooms between procedures to keep the surgical schedule on track.

Requirements

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the CVOR setting
• Strong cardiac surgery skills and thoracic da Vinci experience required
• BLS certification required
