PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• 13-week contract
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Low census hours may occur in 4-hour increments; contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Care for patients with conditions including stable and weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Heavy telemetry monitoring required
• Primary patients and insulin drips management required
• Ventilator/trach experience required
• Stepdown, intermediate, or PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Any color scrubs permitted
