About this role
Columbia County Medical Center Hospital is seeking a Registered MRI Technologist for night shift work. You will perform a wide variety of MRI technical procedures, working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with no on-call requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain complete clinical history, gather examination data, and assess for contraindicating conditions
- Prepare and administer contrast as needed, verify patient GFR labs, and ensure weight-based contrast dosing
- Ensure proper patient identification, privacy, and comfort throughout all procedures
- Demonstrate competence in patient positioning, cross-sectional anatomy, and pulse sequence parameters
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, including the ability to push and retrieve studies to PACS
- Maintain the MRI suite in a safe and locked environment at all times
- Respond to emergency situations and observe patient conditions for necessary physician intervention
- Restock linens and supplies and maintain the MRI department in a clean and orderly condition
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in MRI or successful completion of an accredited MRI program
- Current ARMRIT Certified MRI Technologist or ARRT-MR certification required
- Current BLS certification (AHA, ARC, or Instructor level)
- Must be a Registered MRI Technologist
- Preferred experience with Philips MRI equipment, Epic, and AGFA PACS
You must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs and willing to work any holiday that falls on a scheduled workday. This 91-day assignment begins August 24, 2026, and offers a weekly pay of $1,828.
