Certified Surgical Tech - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• Work in a 2-bed CVOR unit using standard CVOR equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Scheduled in accordance with facility policy, including every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
• Day shift staffing includes 2 First Assists, 2 RNs, 2 Certified Surgical Techs, and PRN staff as needed; night shift is call only
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Required skills: CABG on and off pump, valve procedures, ablations, and assistance with placement of lines
• Preferred skills: setup of Level 1 rapid infuser and setup of cell saver
• Typical procedures performed include CABG, VATS, ION, valves, ablations, and backup for TAVR
• Surgical staff scrub color is Ciel Blue
• Must demonstrate flexibility and open communication
• Parking available in on-site parking garage
