Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts with weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Every other weekend required: nights Friday/Saturday/Sunday, days Saturday/Sunday
• Every other holiday required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Acute care setting
• Assess patients and plan appropriate treatments based on physician orders and evaluations
• Administer treatments including oxygen therapy, humidity therapy, airway management, resuscitation, mechanical ventilation, postural drainage, chest physiotherapy, BiPAP, CPAP, nebulizers, inhalers, and ABGs
• Must be able to intubate independently for adult patients
• Prior Level 2-3 NICU experience with ventilators required
• Pediatric floor care and adult experience required
• Perform EKGs during off hours from 5:00 PM through 7:00 AM the following morning and all weekend (excluding the ER)
• Work with ventilator brands including Servo U, Hamilton G5, Hamilton T1 Transport Vent, Philips Respironics V60 BiPAP non-invasive ventilation, and AirVo & MaxTech high flow heated systems
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Gray
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) verification; CRT accepted if license was held prior to July 1, 2022
