ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Assigned to the Emergency Department unit with 64 total beds including 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds
• Float to other units as required
• Treat patients across all age groups including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required with some pediatric experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• EMR experience with EPIC required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Active New York RN license required with NURSYS verification
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
