Respiratory Therapist Job in Savannah, GA

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment in the NICU. You will work 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

What You'll Do

• Provide respiratory care to neonatal patients, including independent management of vented patients
• Set up and manage heliox therapy through invasive and non-invasive measures
• Administer non-invasive ventilation including biPAP and CPAP
• Perform neonatal-specific skills: Bubble CPAP, nitric oxide therapy, and high frequency ventilation
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment including Servo U, Drager VN500, F&P Bubble CPAP, HFOV, HFJV, and Vaportherm
• Document patient care in the Epic system

What You Need

• Allied Health Professional degree as a Respiratory Therapist
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Neonatal ICU or PICU critical care
• PALS certification
• Proficiency with advanced ventilation modes and neonatal equipment
