Opportunity:

RN - Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work day shifts consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week
• 2-3 weekdays of call required per month
• Minimum 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience required
• Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care consistent with population specific characteristics including age, gender, and disease
• Partner with patients and significant others using bedside shift report, interdisciplinary rounds, and planned patient teaching
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care through interdisciplinary communication methods
• Participate in performance improvement activities, research, and shared governance
• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and required mandatory education
• Serve as preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses, staff, or students
• Promote evidence-based practice and nursing research
• Uphold all healthcare system policies, procedures, and clinical competencies
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (required within 180 days of hire)
• Active RN license required - single state or multi-state compact accepted
• Associate's or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred
