Special Procedures Technologist Job in Dothan, AL

You will work in the Interventional Radiology and Neuro-Interventional suites at Southeast Health Medical Center, performing specialized technical roles in a fast-paced procedural environment. This is a Monday through Friday position with shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, plus call coverage responsibilities.

Your responsibilities include:

• Function as a scrub, monitor, and fluoroscopy technologist in single- and biplane environments
• Provide technical assistance with sheath insertion, groin sealant, and stabilization for vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-endovascular procedures
• Operate equipment in the interventional radiology suite, OR 28, and neuro-interventional suites
• Assist with adult diagnostic angiography, minimally invasive guidewire and catheter-based procedures, and percutaneous biopsies
• Provide care to adult and geriatric patient populations
• Follow all radiation safety policies and procedures for patients, coworkers, and self
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and the multidisciplinary procedural team

Call coverage commitment: Approximately 9 to 11 days per month, including neuro lab call coverage for approximately one week every four weeks and backup call coverage of 2 to 4 additional days per month. You must be able to report to the hospital within 30 minutes of notification.

Required qualifications: Experience with vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-endovascular cases. Graduate of an approved radiologic technology program recognized by the American Medical Association Council on Education, or credentialed through Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS). BLS and ACLS certification required. ARRT (VI) certification preferred.

This 91-day assignment starts November 16, 2026, and pays $3,342 per week. New travelers are welcome. Your permanent address must be at least 90 miles from the facility.
