Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech

Job Details:

• Rotating schedule of 2 eight-hour shifts and 2 twelve-hour shifts per week totaling 40 hours weekly
• Typical shift times include 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM, 10:45 AM–7:15 PM, 10:45 AM–11:15 PM, and 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
• Day and afternoon shifts on a rotating basis with weekends and holidays as required
• 8–12 hours of on-call per week required with a 30-minute response time
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Acute care setting
• Charting completed using EPIC
• Scrubs provided for OR
• Facility operates 33 total OR suites averaging 80–120 cases per day across all service lines
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required with strong orthopedic (total knees/hips), neurology, trauma, and robotics experience
• 5 years of experience strongly preferred
• Robotic (DaVinci) experience required
• Service lines include orthopedics, neurosciences, robotics, bariatric, ENT, and ophthalmology
• Must hold current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse, completion of a Surgical Technology program, completion of a Registered Nurse program, completion of a summer surgical tech extern program, or a High School Diploma/Equivalent with 2 years of previous scrub experience
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
