Telemetry RN Job in Alliance, NE

You will work as an RN on a 25-bed Patient Care Unit at Box Butte General Hospital in Alliance, Nebraska. This is a full-time travel assignment running 88 days, beginning November 3, 2026. You will work three 12-hour night shifts weekly, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, earning $2,332 per week.

Unit and Patient Population

Your unit is located on the 2nd floor and includes 23 floor beds and 2 Medical Decision Unit beds. You will care for patients with COPD exacerbation, CHF, swing bed patients, amputations, wound care, long-term antibiotics, post-partum, and pediatric patients. Your patient ratio will be 1:4, with 1:5 as a stretch. A Charge Nurse is available on every shift and does not take patients.

Clinical Environment

The unit uses central telemetry monitoring with two portable telemetry monitors. Charting is performed in Meditech Expanse, and infusion pumps are Alaris. You may float to the ED but will function only as a task nurse in that setting.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry unit
• Previous experience working in a Critical Access Hospital
• BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) certifications required; PALS preferred
• Experience with Meditech Expanse computer charting preferred
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Reliable personal transportation (Uber and Lyft services are not available in the area)
