CT Technologist Job in Sacramento, CA

Mercy General Hospital is hiring a CT Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 1, 2026. You will work 4x10 night shifts with on-call responsibilities.

Role Overview

You will operate computed tomography and radiography equipment in an acute care setting. Your responsibilities include:

• Work 10-hour night shifts with a 30-minute on-call response time, required 3-4 days per month
• Float between CT and X-ray modalities as needed
• Operate GE 128, Siemens CT 64, GE and Siemens DR rooms, OEC C-arms, and Carestream Portables
• Document patient records using Cerner charting system

Qualifications

You must hold a valid California Radiologic Technologist license and current certifications in BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), and Fluoroscopy. Multi-modality experience is preferred, though single CT experience will be considered. You will need to provide 2 supervisory references from your submitting modality, with 1 reference from within the last 12 months and 1 from within the last 3 years.

Assignment Details

This is a 91-day assignment. You will work night shifts on a 4x10 schedule. Up to 4 shifts may be cancelled per 13-week assignment (or up to 3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks). The agency will provide you with a rad badge.

Compensation and Logistics

You will earn $3,168 per week. Parking is off-site at the Scottish Rite Center, approximately 1.6 miles from the facility, with shuttle access available to and from Mercy General Hospital.
