Job Details:

• Variable schedule with 3x12-hour shifts and rotating days off
• No set days are guaranteed and block scheduling cannot be approved
• Call required, averaging 3-6 days in a 28-day cycle
• Weekend coverage required, averaging every 4th or 5th weekend
• General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Trauma, and ENT experience required
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 35-40 patients across 13 rooms/beds
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Key procedural skills include but are not limited to: general OR, orthopedic and spine procedures, spinal fusion, total joint replacement, craniotomy, trauma cases, laparoscopic assisted procedures, robotic surgery systems including Da Vinci Xi and Mako, laminectomy/discectomy, tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, and ENT procedures
• Experience with specialized surgical systems such as Mazor Robot, Mako Surgical System, and Hana Table preferred
• Must adhere to universal protocol, infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, and malignant hyperthermia protocols
• Expect to work some holidays
