CVOR Technologist Job in Springfield, OR

McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) to join its Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team for a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 14, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 5x8 days per week
• Weekly pay: $2,750
• Duration: 91 days
• Facility: McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center, Springfield, OR

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub open heart and cardiovascular surgical cases in the CVOR
• Prepare the operating room including sterile field setup, surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions
• Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon during procedures
• Prepare and manage surgical equipment throughout cases
• Manage the sterile field and specimens simultaneously
• Perform sponge and supply counts to prevent retained foreign objects
• Float to Main OR or Sterile Processing Department as needed
• Float to house as a constant observer as needed

Requirements

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification following completion of a CAAHEP-accredited or other programmatically-accredited surgical technology program
• Minimum 2 years of surgical technician experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• Travel candidates only; no local candidates will be accepted
