CVOR Technologist Job in Springfield, OR

McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) to join the cardiothoracic and vascular operating room (CVOR) team. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 2, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekly pay: $2,336
• Minimum of four call shifts per month required

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room including sterile field setup, surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions
• Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon during procedures
• Prepare and manage surgical equipment throughout procedures
• Manage the sterile field and specimens simultaneously
• Perform counts of sponges and supplies to prevent retained foreign objects

Requirements

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification, verified through completion of a CAAHEP-accredited or other programmatically-accredited surgical technology program
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technician experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• Expertise in total joints, orthopedics, spine, and da Vinci robot procedures

You will work alongside experienced CVOR surgeons and nursing staff in a Level II trauma center. Your role ensures surgical safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
