CVOR Registered Nurse Job in Winter Haven, FL

Winter Haven Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiothoracic Operating Room (CVOR). You will work five 8-hour shifts with call hours from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM in a high-acuity surgical environment.

Schedule and Expectations

• Five 8-hour day shifts, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM
• On-call required with weekend call every other week on a 1 week on/1 week off rotation
• 1:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
• Daily census of approximately 4 cases
• Willingness to float within Winter Haven Hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital

Clinical Focus

The department performs CABG, thoracotomy, TAVR, Mitra Clip, AVR, pericardial window, MVR, and pacemaker procedures. You will respond to codes and manage patients requiring specialized cardiothoracic care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CVOR
• Previous charge experience required
• Active Florida or Compact nursing license
• ACLS certification required
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
