CVOR RN Job in Hudson, FL

You'll join HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN on a 91-day travel assignment. This is a day shift role, 5 days per week, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with a variable call schedule for on-call coverage during nights and weekends.

The Role

You'll work in a 12-suite operating room with two CVOR rooms. Day shift staffing includes 4 RNs and 4 Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs), and you'll maintain a 1:1 patient ratio. You'll be expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation. Main OR experience with willingness to float between areas is required, and candidates who also scrub are preferred.

What You'll Do

• Assist with cardiovascular surgeries including CABG, valve replacement, thoracic, and vascular procedures
• Maintain patient care standards in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and surgical technologists
• Document procedures using Meditech EMR (experience preferred)

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5+ years of CVOR experience
• RN licensure
• Main OR experience with flexibility to float
• Scrubbing ability (preferred)
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR (preferred)

Details

You'll wear Navy Blue scrubs. Parking is available throughout the facility, except in the ER parking area. Your assignment begins September 1, 2026, and runs for 91 days. Weekly pay is $2,711.
