PCU RN Job in Clarkston, Washington

You'll work as an RN in the Progressive Care Unit at Tri-State, a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in Clarkston, Washington. This is a days shift position offering $2,431 weekly for a 91-day assignment starting September 21, 2026.

Your Role

You'll provide direct patient care in the Med Surg/PCU unit, managing patient needs across a progressive care setting. You must be experienced in all clinical areas and willing to flex into different departments as needed to support facility operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Assess and address patient and family education needs using appropriate teaching modalities
• Implement comprehensive patient safety measures including side rail application, restraint protocols, and safe equipment operation
• Follow restraint policy correctly with appropriate evaluation and documentation
• Demonstrate proficiency with all equipment across PCU, Telemetry, and Med Surg areas; troubleshoot issues and access repair procedures as needed
• Execute infection control and isolation procedures with proper documentation
• Apply standard precautions consistently throughout all patient interactions
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation of patient status, nursing interventions, and patient responses
• Document all charges accurately and ensure physician orders are entered and completed in a timely manner
• Complete 24-hour order verification within your assigned shift duties
• Deliver thorough and accurate change-of-shift reports to oncoming staff
• Communicate clearly with other departments regarding patient care coordination
• Report critical lab values to physicians according to facility policy
• Maintain and restock emergency carts, patient room supplies, and general unit supplies

Required Qualifications

Active Washington state nursing license required.
