PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• 36-hour work week only
• Night shift position on a 35-bed Surgical Progressive Care Unit
• Patient ratios of 4 to 5:1
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Wound care experience is a plus
• Common patient diagnoses include complex wound care for surgical flap procedures on specialty beds and post-operative care
• Floating required - travelers are first to float and may float to other sister campuses
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• EMR system: Epic
• Scrub color: Galaxy Blue and White
• Degree accreditation must be on profile or must have 5 years of acute care experience
• All requested time off must be noted at time of submission
• Travelers are expected to function as core staff
