ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU Med Surg

Job Details:

• Night shift position with 36 weekly guaranteed hours
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 2-3 patients to 1 nurse
• Work on a 38-bed mixed unit primarily serving medical patients, including neuro surgery and cardiovascular surgery patients
• Float requirements to Med Surg and Stepdown units
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: CCRN/SCRN
• Experience with ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring required
• CRRT experience is a plus
• EMR system: EPIC
• Must pass a medication and math competency test with a minimum score of 90% before assuming medication administration responsibilities
• Preferred experience: open heart recovery and CRRT
• Scrub color: Black
• No hoodies permitted
