MRI Technologist Job in Mount Pleasant, SC

MUSC Health - UMA - East Cooper Medical Pavilion is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will report to the site supervisor and radiology manager, performing high-quality MRI examinations according to established protocols for physician interpretation.

Schedule and Hours

• Primary shift: Monday through Friday, 5x8s (12:30 PM–9:00 PM)
• Facility will also consider 4x10s (10:30 AM–9:00 PM) or 3x12s (8:30 AM–9:00 PM)
• Saturday weekend shifts required (8:00 AM–4:00 PM); weeks without Saturday shifts are five 8-hour days Monday–Friday equaling 40 hours; weeks with Saturday shifts are four 8-hour days Monday–Friday plus Saturday shift equaling 40 hours
• No on-call requirement
• Guaranteed hours: facility may call off one shift per two weeks

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations including general exams, implants, elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac imaging
• May float between Clements Ferry and East Cooper locations

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of MRI experience
• BLS certification and either ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification
• Required equipment experience: Siemens
• Preferred equipment experience: Sectra and Epic
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
• State license not required
