Occupational Therapist Job in Bethel, Alaska

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment in Bethel, Alaska, starting October 9, 2026. You will work days at Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation, earning $2,774 weekly with guaranteed 40-hour weeks.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services across outpatient, inpatient, and long-term care settings. Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver occupational therapy care to patients of all ages and diagnoses
• Conduct home visits and village-based treatment sessions, bringing portable equipment as needed
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and modify individualized patient care plans
• Operate standard occupational therapy equipment including hi-lo tables, therapeutic exercise machines, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation modalities
• Perform ADL training and functional assessments
• Compose detailed patient documentation and medical correspondence
• Collaborate with medical providers, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Leverage Alaska's Direct Access privilege to provide independent occupational therapy services
• Communicate effectively with diverse patient populations and cultural backgrounds

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current NBCOT certification
• Active Alaska OT license or equivalent with Alaska licensure pending
• Current BLS certification
