Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts per week
• Guaranteed hours vary: 8 and 10-hour shifts equal 40 hours in one workweek; 3x12-hour shifts equal 36 hours in one workweek; 4x12-hour shifts equal 48 hours in one workweek
• Every other weekend required
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital is required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local travelers (Indiana residents) accepted
• Indiana state license must be in hand at time of submission - pending licenses not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT (NBRC RRT required; CRT not accepted)
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required skills include: Adult Critical Care, Bag and mask, BiPAP, CPAP, Emergency Department, ET Tube, Extubation, Hand held nebulizer, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Intubation Assist, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oral/nasal suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, Suctioning (ETT, NT), T-piece, Trach collar, Tracheostomy care/management, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, and Weaning from mechanical ventilation
• Patient population: Adults
• 150-bed facility with interdisciplinary respiratory services support
