Ultrasound Technologist Job in Midland, TX

Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for night shift work. You will perform ultrasound procedures across radiology and cardiology specialties, serving patients from neonates through geriatrics in multiple care settings.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: November 9, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,085
• Call may be required based on shift and department needs

Your Responsibilities

• Perform abdominal ultrasounds including gallbladder, liver, pancreas, spleen, aorta, and renal/bladder studies
• Conduct obstetric imaging including first, second, and third trimester studies, fetal anatomical surveys, high-risk obstetric cases, maternal-fetal medicine, and multiple pregnancy imaging
• Perform superficial imaging of thyroid, prostate, testicles/scrotum, hernia, and superficial masses
• Conduct procedures such as paracentesis and thoracentesis
• Operate Samsung ultrasound equipment and use PACS systems
• Work with portable ultrasound units
• Provide services in Emergency Department, ICU, NICU, and PICU settings
• Some holiday work required

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
• ARDMS certification
• BLS certification
• Experience with portable units and PACS systems

Preferred Qualifications

• ARDMS AB (abdominal), OB/GYN, and PS (physics/instrumentation) certifications
• Cerner charting system experience
