Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Oklahoma City, OK

OU Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Oklahoma City. You will assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that diagnose, monitor, and treat a range of conditions without surgery.

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform procedures including cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, angiography, device implantation, biopsies, thrombectomy, embolization, and pain management
• Operate highly specialized radiologic equipment and techniques to support diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide comfort during care
• Act as scrub tech while assisting providers during procedures
• Maintain strict sterile field and adhere to safety protocols
• Transfer images and data to electronic health systems and prepare studies for physician reporting
• Perform quality control checks, cleaning, disinfecting, and equipment maintenance per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines
• Conduct post-testing quality reviews to confirm all required elements are completed and documented
• Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional patient care
• May support academic partnerships by teaching radiologic program students
• May serve as departmental preceptor to new or less experienced team members

Position Details:

• Schedule: 4x10 shift (10-hour shifts)
• Weekend and night call coverage required
• On-call clinical coverage required outside regularly scheduled duty hours on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as assigned
• Duration: 89 days
• Start Date: August 31, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $3,504

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT (RT) certification
• BLS and ACLS certification
