Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend coverage required on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights
• Holiday coverage required
• On-call coverage required approximately 4 days per month with a 1-hour call response time
• Perform 10 to 30 treatments per day
• Treat mostly adult patients with some pediatric and neonate patients
• Cover inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room areas
• Draw arterial blood gases (ABGs) and perform EKGs
• Work with neonates using Bubble CPAP and ventilators
• Assist with intubation but not required to intubate independently
• Work as the only therapist on shift during nights with a second therapist available on call
• No floating outside of respiratory therapy department; may float within Zone 1 in extreme need
• Chart using EPIC system
• Wear solid colored scrubs in any color
• Work with Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, C1 Hamilton CPAP and BiPAP, AirVo and Vapotherm high-flow equipment, and Fisher and Paykel Bubble CPAP
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS, NRP, and either CRT or RRT via NBRC
• Must be within 60 miles of facility and provide a valid driver's license
