ICU RN Travel Job in Nashville, TN

You'll work as an RN in a 16-bed Intensive Care Unit at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of October 5, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
• Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Schedule completed in 4-week increments with self-scheduling available to an extent; your manager may adjust shifts to balance unit needs
• As contract labor, you are first to float; if staffing needs arise in med/surg, you'll be expected to float and accept that assignment

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with ratios of 2:1, occasionally 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity and staffing
• Operate and manage advanced equipment including ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000
• Perform and assist with procedures: central line insertion, arterial line insertion, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions
• Document using Meditech electronic documentation system
• Deliver attentive and compassionate care to patients and family members

Unit Support

The unit has a dedicated unit secretary during day shift and occasional nurse extern working as a tech, which helps support your workflow.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Prior ICU experience required
• Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms)

Compensation

You'll earn $1,816 per week.
