RN - OR

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule with call and/or holidays required; weekend-only position also available
• On-call required: 40-60 hours per 6-week period, with 6 call shifts per 6-week period (may vary)
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; no block scheduling
• Minimum 3 years of experience required; Level I Trauma experience required
• Scrub required; circulate required; scrub preferred
• Will float within scope to meet facility needs
• OR RNs must be well-rounded and current in most areas except CV and Transplant, as floating is required
• Core 3 & 4 unit covers: General, Plastics, GYN, ENT, Trauma, Neuro, Ortho, GU, and Colorectal Robotics
• Average daily census: 70-80 patients; 21 operating rooms
• Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Parking: Free
• Required certifications: BLS; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Required skills include but are not limited to: Abdominal/Vaginal Hysterectomy, Craniotomy, Colorectal Robotic Surgery, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Total Joint Replacement, Trauma, Laparoscopic Assisted Cases, Lumbar Fusion, Whipple, XLIF, ALIF, and other general OR procedures
• Indiana license, compact license, or temporary license required at time of start
• Floating is 100% required; candidates may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
