Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts on medical-surgical float unit
• Night shifts with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• Call or standby requirement with LCD
• Floating requirements - first to float
• Care for 61 combined beds on medical-surgical unit
• BLS certification required
• Any scrub color allowed for dress code
• EPIC charting system
• BSN not required
• Work with surgical patients including total joints, fractures, bariatric, urology, and general surgery
• Care for medical patients with CHF, CVA, SOB, and diabetic issues
• Telemetry monitoring with monitor tech reading strips and RN confirmation
• Work with respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
• Nurse aide support with 1:15 ratio
• No drip titration required
• No charge nurse or house supervisor responsibilities
• Unit-specific orientation and travel CBO required
• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract; 3 shifts if contract under 13 weeks
