Echo Technologist Job in Pittsburgh, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Sleep Technologist to join Southwest – UPMC Presbyterian/Montefiore in Pittsburgh, PA for a 90-day travel assignment. This role offers you the opportunity to deliver high-quality sleep study services in a respected healthcare environment.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
• Duration: 90 days
• Start Date: September 21, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,128.68

Your Responsibilities

• Review patient charts and testing orders; verify proper patient identification prior to sleep studies
• Apply electrodes and sensors according to AASM recommendations
• Explain testing procedures to patients in a clear, professional manner
• Perform all aspects of in-center and out-of-center sleep study acquisition with focus on quality patient care
• Analyze and score sleep studies
• Clean equipment and patient rooms, perform routine equipment maintenance, and restock lab supplies
• Demonstrate continued scoring competency by completing monthly AASM ISR requirements

Qualifications Required

• Minimum 2 years of experience in polysomnography or sleep technology
• Graduate of a CAAHEP, CoARC, or BRPT STAR designated polysomnography program
• Current sleep credential from BRPT, NBRC, or ABSM
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pennsylvania Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 compliance
