About this role
Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon, Ohio is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment. You will work day shift, 40 hours per week, for a 23–26 week contract beginning August 24, 2026.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support interventional cardiology and interventional radiology procedures in a Level II cath lab
- Assist with angiograms, stenting, and other coronary interventions
- Respond to STEMI calls as required
- Demonstrate competency with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) support
- Demonstrate competency with Impella mechanical circulatory support devices
- Participate in on-call coverage one week per month (rotating Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays)
- Float within Knox Community Hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
Qualifications
- Allied Health Professional credential with Cath Lab Technologist specialization
- Current ACLS certification
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Minimum 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience preferred
- Familiarity with interventional procedures and hemodynamic monitoring
Compensation and Schedule
Weekly pay is $2,880 for a 5×8 day shift schedule. This is a 161-day assignment with flexible start timing around your availability.
