Physical Therapist Job in Robinson, IL

Crawford Memorial Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team on a rotating shift basis. This 91-week travel assignment runs from April 28, 2026, and offers weekly compensation of $2,482.

Your Role

You will evaluate, plan, direct, and administer Physical Therapy services as prescribed by licensed providers. You will work across inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings, delivering skilled therapy to patients with varying degrees and types of disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients using Physical Therapy modalities including ultrasound, NMES, and iontophoresis
• Perform skilled therapy techniques such as manual muscle testing and joint ROM measurements
• Instruct patients on use of adaptive and assistive equipment
• Supervise and direct Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA)
• Perform appropriate patient assessments related to physician orders
• Design individualized treatment programs and formulate realistic short and long-term treatment goals
• Include patient and family in development of care plans
• Complete timely and efficient documentation including evaluations, progress notes, monthly notes, and discharge summaries
• Ensure accurate patient charges and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements

• Current Illinois Physical Therapist License
• Valid driver's license and proof of personal auto insurance
• BLS certification
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience preferred
• APTA membership preferred
