Job Details:

• Core Lab position - MLT not accepted
• Weekend rotation every third weekend to meet departmental needs
• No on-call requirements
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract - all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• If one or two major holidays fall during assignment period, traveler is expected to work all holidays; if three major holidays fall during assignment period, traveler is expected to work two of the holidays
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Required certifications: ASCP, ASCP MT
• Required skills include: hospital clinical laboratory, cardiac enzymes, immunoassay, therapeutic drug monitoring, tumor markers, CBC manual, manual differential, fibrinogen, platelet aggregation, platelet count, reticulocyte count, ANA, body fluids, pregnancy testing, RPR, accessioning, pipetting, specimen collection, microscopic urinalysis, and quality assurance and controls
• Charting system experience required
