Operating Room RN Job in Appleton, WI

ThedaCare - Appleton is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This is a 13-week travel assignment offering 40 guaranteed hours per week at $2,592 weekly pay, starting September 28, 2026.

Position Details:

• 5x8 evening shifts with variable start times (6:15 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:30 AM, or 1:00 PM) — flexibility required
• Every 3rd weekend rotation
• Holiday rotation with requirement to work at least one major holiday
• On-call and callback every 3–4 weekends and 1–2 nights per week (30-minute response time)
• Float responsibilities within the facility and to all sites within a 60-mile radius as needed
• Patient ratio: 1:1

Clinical Focus:

Primary cases include heavy gynecological, breast, and orthopedic procedures utilizing Da Vinci XI technology. You will work as a circulator in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Qualifications Required:

• Minimum 3+ years of Operating Room experience
• Current circulator experience required
• Wisconsin RN license
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Epic charting experience within the last year
• Associate's degree or certificate (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Previous travel healthcare experience strongly preferred

Additional Requirements:

• Black scrubs required
• Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks
