Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics
• Work in Vascular OR cases with Hybrid OR setting including Endovascular and EVAR procedures
• Preferred experience with CSI, Penumbra
• Preferred experience with Trauma Level I
• Unit systems: Epic (preferred), Pyxis
• OR scrubs provided by the facility
• Every other weekend required unless specified otherwise
• Call requirements: 7 days on call, 7 days off with rotation (4-5 call shifts per week with every other weekend)
• May float to Main OR in rare instances
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• RTO blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4th–12th)
• Expected to work major holidays that fall within assignment period
• Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA
• Key skills include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR), TEVAR, TAVR, CVOR, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Aseptic Technique, Radiation Safety, and Universal Protocol (Time Out) Procedure among others
