Job Details:

• Work in a 16-room operating room department with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift staffing includes one team of RN, surgical assistant, and surgical tech per OR room
• Evening shift tapers to 4 teams from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, 2 teams from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and 1 team from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• Night shift is call only
• Call rotation averages 2 call shifts per week, including weekday nights and weekend primary and backup coverage
• Call starts for additional 2 teams at 3:00 PM on weekends
• Perform a wide range of surgical procedures including robotic, neurosurgery, general, plastics, urology, and orthopedic surgeries (all except transplant and cardiac surgery)
• Must have robotic experience, orthopedic experience, and neuro/spine experience - candidates without these skills will not be considered
• Work with OR equipment including robotics and advanced surgical technology
• EMR system used is Meditech
• Hospital-provided scrubs supplied
• No floating to other areas required
• Virginia nursing license required
