Med Surg RN Job in Wheatland, WY

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Med Surg unit at Platte County Memorial Hospital. This is a 91-day travel assignment with 3x12 night shifts, starting August 24, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,310.30.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies and professional standards
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs, including discharge planning
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal results to physicians and caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans based on patient-specific needs and medical orders
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate and delegate health care team activities, and supervise team members as needed
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching; revise plans as needed
• Document all assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluations accurately and timely in the patient record
• Perform telemetry strip interpretation
• Complete ECG exams as required
• May supervise departmental staff and workflow

Requirements:

• Current Wyoming RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Wyoming DFS clearance
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in Med Surg specialty within the past 12 months
