Interventional Radiology Technologist in Savannah, GA

You will work as an Interventional Radiology Technologist at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 31, 2026.

Role and Setting

You will support interventional radiology and angiography procedures across three labs: two dedicated IR labs and one hybrid OR. You will maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and work within 3–4 person teams alongside two RNs and one additional technologist. Your responsibilities include operating specialized equipment such as IVUS, Shockwave, AngioJet, and Jet Stream systems, and documenting patient care using the EPIC Cupid system.

Procedures and Experience

You will participate in a wide range of procedures, including:

• Permcath placement and port placement
• Thrombectomy and atherectomy
• Vascular procedures (TVAR, TIPS, EVAR)
• Trauma and stroke interventions
• Pulmonary embolism cases

This role requires critical care and angio/IR experience, including stroke and trauma case familiarity. ICU or ER experience is required.

Schedule and Compensation

You will work four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities. Weekly pay is $2,628.

Requirements

You must hold current ACLS and BLS certifications. Dress code for technologists is navy blue and black.
