Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Roswell, GA

North Fulton Hospital seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist for day shift work at the Vascular Institute. You will work 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, four 10-hour shifts per week, with weekly on-call responsibilities. This is a 91-day travel position starting July 23, 2026.

Your Role

You will perform interventional and vascular hybrid procedural imaging under the direction of the clinical coordinator and/or department manager. Working alongside radiologists, vascular surgeons, and cardiologists, you will set up equipment, provide imaging services, and position patients for procedures. You will maintain proper sterile technique, prepare necessary supplies and equipment, and ensure patient safety through proper identification and consent verification using two patient identifiers and time-out forms.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all exams per department procedures, demonstrating age-appropriate care delivery
• Verify patient identity and confirm written orders and consent
• Provide patient, family, and support system education, including post-procedural home care instructions
• Maintain stock levels and assist with departmental records and regulatory compliance
• Demonstrate competency in patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
• Assist in in-service training for other medical imaging staff as appropriate
• Remain flexible with hours to meet departmental needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an Interventional Special Procedures setting in IR and/or vascular hybrid setting
• ARRT-R (ARRT Radiography) certification
• BLS certification (AHA, ARC, or Instructor)
• High School Diploma or GED with completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,839. You will receive a travel healthcare position with the flexibility to build your clinical experience in a specialized procedural environment.
