Job Details:

• Day shift position working 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, four 10-hour shifts per week
• Weekly on-call responsibilities required
• Must be flexible with hours to meet departmental needs
• Perform interventional and vascular hybrid procedural imaging under the direction of the clinical coordinator and/or department manager
• Work in conjunction with radiologists, vascular surgeons, and cardiologists
• Assist with providing safe, age-appropriate care by performing all exams per department procedures
• Set up equipment, provide imaging services, and position patients for procedures
• Demonstrate and maintain proper sterile technique
• Prepare necessary supplies and equipment for procedures
• Verify patient ID using two patient identifiers and confirm written orders and consent
• Utilize preprocedural verification and time-out forms
• Provide patient, family, and support system education including post-procedural home care instructions
• Maintain stock levels and assist with departmental records and regulatory compliance
• Assist in in-service and training for other medical imaging staff as appropriate
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an Interventional Special Procedures setting in IR and/or vascular hybrid setting required
• Required certifications: ARRT-R (ARRT Radiography) and BLS (AHA, ARC, or Instructor)
• High School Diploma or GED with completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
• Must demonstrate competency in all aspects of interventional and vascular procedures, patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
