Job Details:

• Day shift position working 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time required
• Maximum 14 days of on-call per 30-day schedule
• Must be flexible with hours to meet departmental needs
• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures in IR, Vascular Hybrid, and Neuro-interventional settings
• Assist with providing safe, age-appropriate care to patients during interventional special procedures
• Work in conjunction with radiologists, vascular surgeons, and cardiologists
• Demonstrate and maintain knowledge of sterile technique
• Prepare necessary supplies and equipment for procedures
• Verify patient identification using two patient identifiers
• Perform patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
• Provide patient and family education including post-procedural home care instructions
• Transport patients as needed
• Maintain stock levels and assist with departmental records
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Interventional Special Procedures in IR, cardiac, or vascular hybrid setting required
• Cath lab experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT-CV, ARRT-R, ARRT-VI, or RCIS; BLS (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS preferred upon hire
• High School Diploma, GED, or accredited Radiologic Technology program required
• Must maintain current license and BLS certifications
